The new mobile slots game takes place on a 5×3 (er, 3×5?) reel grid with 20 pay lines. It has a fun, festive, Mexican theme, complete with high paying symbols of (least to greatest) tequila shots, fiery hot sauce, bug-eyed chihuahuas and el mariachis. Playing card values make up the lower end of the pay table.
The Chilli Heat logo is the wild. It won’t multiply any winnings, but it often appears stacked on the reels. Wilds replace all symbols except scatters and bonus to help drive winning combos.
The lustrous, mustache-doning Mexican Sun is the scatter. You’ll need three of them to trigger the 8 Free Spins. However, this symbols only shows up on reels 2, 3 and 4, making it a bit difficult to win free games. When you do, the fireworks fly.

By far the most interesting feature in Chilli Heat is the Money Respin. The Money Bag is the bonus symbol, and can appear in any position, on any reel, at any time. Each bag will display either a random amount of credits, or the Mini or Major Jackpot prizes. It takes 6 of them appearing on the reels in a single spin to trigger the Money Respin Feature.
When this happens, all other symbols on the reels disappear (after paying any other winning combos), with only money bags and empty spaces remaining. Three respins are awarded, in which only money bags and more empty spaces can land on the reels. If at least one money bag appears, the respins are reset to 3. The respins continue in this fashion until all spins are depleted, or all money bags fill the reels.
At this point, all prizes on all money bags are awarded. If all spaces are filled with money bags, the Grande Jackpot is also released.
